Day 4 - Aug 25, 2016

Kids have a hard time today!  they were grumpy and gave me lots of fits to do their work! Ugh!
We started History and Art today!

Day 3 - Aug 24, 2016

Today we had a late start, Dad is out of town and when that happens mom does not sleep so well, she tosses and turns all night. The kids had a hard time completing their chores and getting ready for school!

We finally began 45 min late! The great thing about homeschooling is you are not on a time constraint and can move things back a bit and your day keeps moving forward!

1. Life of Fred & Math Apps
2. Began our Science Unit "Weather"
1. learned that God Created the World in 6 days!
3. Handwriting and Spelling City
4. Reading
1. Chloie finished her book and began a new one! "Ghosts" by Raina Telgemeier
2. Quinn is loving the "Teach my Monster to Read" App he did it extra time and didn't want to put it down!

Day 2 - Aug, 23, 2016

Today went pretty good they kids seemed to have the routine down, so tomorrow I will add Science.

It is funny to watch the kids and how they respond to school. Chloie likes to zone out and you have to remind her to keep on task, Harlie, thinks school is so awesome and goes by too fast. Then you have Quinn do we have to do school today? It will be fun to watch them grow this year!

1. Life of Fred - 1 Chapter
2. Math Game Apps - 15 min
3. Handwriting - 2 pages
4. Spelling City App - 15 Min
5. Reading on their own.
1. Harlies book she started yesterday was a little difficult for her to read and understand so she switched to a new book called "Smile" by Raina Telgemeire
2. Quinn How to teach your monster to Read App, and ABC Mouse. 

Day 1 - Aug 22, 2016

Kids were eager to start the day!
They started off at 6:30am going to the Park with Dad.

Then came home and had a breakfast of Cereal and hash-browns.
The kids checked their chores, then off to downstairs to learn

We started the day off slow in making sure that the tablets were all working and the apps were loaded for learning!

1. They all went into Spelling City and Did a Pre-Test.
2. Worked on Handwriting.
3. Girls worked on Prodigy App and Quinn on Monkey Math App.
4. Mom read Life of Fred, 2 chapters.
1. Kids thought it was great to learn about Fred becoming a teacher at the age of 5, sleeping in his office under the desk in a sleeping bag!
5. Girls did Free Reading and Quinn Teacher Your Monster to Read App.
1. Chloie began reading-Jedi Academy, A New Class.
2. Harlie began Reading Alice's Wonderland.

Time for lunch!

Time for play with cousins in the water, play-dough and frisbee!
